A for Aptitude, E for Effort

Eric’s 5th grade teacher was right.

He was “everything I would want a boy to be” when I married him five years ago, and he deserves an equally stellar report card as a husband.

I’m a very lucky, very grateful girl.

In keeping with my theme for 2008, here’s a fun anniversary song (So Happy Together, sung in four-part harmony by The Nylons). It’s a kitschy, early-80s video, but go on, have a listen — the music will put a smile on your face and a spring in your step, I guarantee.

    • Eric likes The Turtles, too. I’d never heard their version before today. Isn’t it a sweet song? Corny, but very cheerful and affirming. šŸ™‚

Thanks for bringing the bubbly! Here, we saved a glass for you.

  1. That is precious! You should frame that thing.

I wonder if anybody writes report cards like that anymore (with those kinds of personal details?) Mine always said: “…has trouble paying attention.”
